Bavua Museum: The Western Negev Selfie Museum, is an innovative, experiential, and creative opportunity to tell the wonderful stories of this area. 

 

Using the methods of various selfie museums around the world, the Reflection Museum seeks to create a visual and experiential space that will provide a positive and instructive experience of the Western Negev, which often gets a negative portrayal in the media due to the complex security situation in the region. 

 

The museum will be built in a spacious structure with several experiential spaces. Each space is designed as a colorful, attractive, and entertaining set, allowing visitors to have personal and artistic documentation experiences in each one. 

 

The museum’s visitors will gain a new perspective of the Western Negev, one of the most beautiful areas in the country. An area of full nature and wide-open spaces, cities, kibbutzim, and moshavim, it contains a diverse population and a huge collection of communities, cultures, history, and renewal. 

 

The way the museum operates automatically turns each visitor into an ambassador for the area. The Reflection Museum is an opportunity to create a unique space like no other in the country, thus increasing tourism and strengthening the local economy and social resilience in the area. Hanoch Daniel – Educator

Hanoch holds a master's degree in Educational Counseling from Bar Ilan University and wrote his thesis on the topic of mental resilience in the Western Negev. His bachelor's degree is in Education and Teaching from Lifshitz College. An educational counselor and gardening therapist, Hanock was a partner in the establishment of two successful educational frameworks in the southern region, and has diverse experience in various settings. He lives in the Western Negev.
