Established in 2010, Ayalushka Theater is an artistic puppet theater that travels around the country. The theater's activities include plays, puppet-making workshops for both children and adults, drama workshops, and “Bicycle Story Time” – a small theater mounted on a bicycle, inspired by the Japanese storytelling tradition of "Kamishibai".

The theater reminds us of days of old, when an artist would travel from town to town with his box of magic and the local children would gather round to watch. The theater aims to create an entirely unique experience at the end of which there is an activity session that the audience can take home.

The theater is currently staging Pass the Parcel, a play born out of the trials and tribulations that Ayala experienced when she immigrated to Israel. A one-woman puppet show dealing with the immigrant experience and the difficulties contained therein, the play reflects the struggles common to many aliyah stories. It is aimed at raising awareness and encouraging new immigrants, thereby hopefully helping them have a more pleasant integration experience.

The show is intended for youth (ages 10 and up), adults, and educators.
